CHOOSING YOUR ARTIST Equestrian Fine Art often put forward several different artists for the client’s consideration, allowing a range of approaches to any subject. As well as supplying initial guidelines on price and completion deadlines, we give advice on the final choice of artist and manage the project from first idea to finished work of art. MANAGING YOUR COMMISSION Once the artist is chosen, we write contracts with both client and artist specifying exactly the details that have been discussed, including price, size, medium and delivery date and notes of when sketches or models are due to be viewed. PAYMENT SYSTEM Payment is usually in three equal parts; the first when the contract is agreed, to activate the commission; the second half way through the agreed period for creation of the piece; and the third on delivery of the finished work. The client pays no more than if working directly with the artist but Equestrian Fine Art manages all aspects of the commission from liaising with the artist to arranging delivery and installation.
